Before it is time to round up all your cowboys, cowgirls, all their friends, gather the horses and circle the wagons let us look at what makes a great western themed party for all to enjoy!

You can also whip up a delicious Western Round Up punch. Just mix the following in a large bowl:
3 (3 ounce) packages fruit flavored gelatin mix
4 cups white sugar
13 cups boiling water
2 (46 fluid ounce) cans pineapple juice
1 (16 ounce) bottle lemon juice concentrate
2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled
Directions
In a large bowl, combine gelatin and sugar. Stir in boiling water until mixture is dissolved. Stir in pineapple juice and lemon juice concentrate. Divide into 2 containers, and freeze until solid.
To serve, place gelatin mixture in punch bowl, and chop into pieces. Pour in ginger ale.
Most everyone has what they need for a Western birthday party costume all ready in their closet…blue jeans, a t-shirt or long sleeve work shirt and a cowboy hat.

See if there is a petting zoo that may have miniature horses that you can rent for the day, all kids love a petting zoo! See if there is a local farm or ranch that may lend you some bails of hay to decorate your yard with.
